Nepal is home to some of the most awe-inspiring scenery on earth. From the ancient and holy city of Kathmandu, to the majesty of Mount Everest this country is breathtaking in everyway. The country has an ancient culture evident in the temples and stupas, warm and welcoming people and a traditional way of life unchanged for centuries.

Most people come to Nepal to see and walk in the beautiful Himalayas in all their glory. You don’t have to be an experience mountain climber to enjoy Nepal as there are lots of temples to visit, day-walks in stunning scenery, wildlife to spot and towns such as Pokhara to visit. However as Nepal is at high altitude and much of the highlights are only accessible on foot we do recommend you be fit and healthy!
Highlights
Mount Everest - The highest mountain in the world dominates the landscape of eastern Nepal and to see it is a once in a lifetime moment. You can take a trek to the foot of Everest or even fly over it if you want to get a closer look.

Kathmandu - A Unesco world heritage site Kathmandu Valley is full of ancient monuments and temples as well as the capital city of Kathmandu which is home to the Bodnath stupa and the Durbar Square temples.

Pokhara - set by the shores of Lake Phewa Tal this is a charming, relaxed city set amongst beautiful natural scenery.

Chitwan National Park - set in the lowlands and subtropical Chitwan is a Unesco World Heritage site and a well known rhino and tiger sanctuary. You can ride on an elephant for a safari with a difference!
